Ohhh godd Thank you so so so so much SavageFrog and ginkgografix  for the DD Im so incredibly humbled and happy!!

Note: this piece was not projected or filtered previously in photoshop it was a manual process of "vectorizing" the shapes of the light and shadow on the figure that were observed.

"To see a jellyfish in your dream represents painful memories that are emerging from your subconscious. There may be hidden hostility or aggression in some aspect of your waking relationship or situation. Alternatively, a jellyfish indicates feelings of inadequacy, uncertainty and a lack of self-esteem. Perhaps there is some situation in which you are unable to assert yourself." -DreamMoods

my guess is that it is taken from a projected photograph possibly taken into photoshop and posterized about 8 levels and then projected onto board.
I think it is wonderful no matter the technique
I really see nothing that would improve it and I'll wager it is very impressive in actual size
the muted pastel tones and colour i reflect the limited spectrum one would find in a submerged enclosure
The jelly fish are a nice touch as the window provides a barrier between the water and the poisonous venum from the jellyfish tendrills
I also think that because it is a self portrait that you gave this to someone you cherish.
If I have gone too far in my supositions eithr abut technique or intention I am truly sorryThis is my first critique and I am not sure of myself

What do you think?

hahaha Deviant ID is the picture you choose to put on the widget in the front of your page here =) in order for it to show you have to select the Deviant ID category for the piece regardless if it's a painting (like in this case) a photograph, digital work  etc.

haha yes dear! although i must clarify that it was not projected on the board or posterized ;u; the layering was done by me while looking at the original un filtered photo =) but i feel flattered that it looks done well enough to be thought of that way :) <3
